Deus Ex: The Fall review

Make no mistake here; Deus Ex: The Fall isn’t your console AAA game made into a typical mobile game cash-in by the developer. If you played Deus Ex games, especially Human Revolution, everything is as it should be; a gold-hued conspiracy-filled world full of hack-able door consoles, ebooks and newspapers to fill you in on what’s going on, air vents for a more stealthy approach, side missions, and of course, a world hub filled with things to see and do. It goes without saying that since this is a mobile game, don’t expect multiple huge hubs like Heng Sha, Detroit and Montreal in Human Revolution. Though it features only one hub, there is till plenty of things to see and do, and remember, this is literally a 5-hour-or-so Deus Ex adventure in the palm of your hands.

Hub world o...

List of upcoming Wii U exclusive games!

The Wii U has gotten a lot of flak lately because of the lack of sales and software for the system. While both of the problems are a reality for Nintendo’s struggling platform, you can always count on Nintendo to release games that truly flip the page. It goes without saying that Nintendo does take a while to release its latest in-house software for any platform, may it be the 3DS or the Wii U, but you can always count on them delivering top notch, high quality titles every time (well, mostly). The real problem for the lack of games is that developers are hesitating to develop exclusive games for the system, as sales of the Wii U are still not up to par. To add salt to the wound,  just yesterday Ubisoft announced that it won’t be developing a sequel to ZombiU. The story can be read here...

Injustice: Gods Among Us coming to the Vita?!!!

Brace yourselves Vita fans! Amazon France has just leaked details that Injustice: Gods Among Us is coming to the Vita and PS3 on November 6! Amazon France has been right in the past about a few rumours such as a Skyrim GOTY edition, The Last Of Us PS3 bundle that didn’t make it to North America, and also a Vita + Memory card bundle that came to Europe. If Amazon France is correct, Vita and PS3 owners might get a GOTY (game of the year) edition which may include all characters in the season pass, and  additional non-season pass characters as well.

3DS upcoming Zelda game was meant to be a remake

The upcoming Zelda game coming to Nintendo’s 3D portable, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, was meant to be a remake of A Link To The Past. Game director Eiji Aonuma stated that he did not want to remake A Link To The Past. The idea for A Link Between Worlds came about when a designer introduced the concept where Link could transform into a 2D character and go into walls, with an appearance much like Paper Mario. The Zelda series has always seen a separate key feature in every game; ability to change masks in Majora’s Mask, ability to summon entities with an Ocarina in Ocarina of Time, and many more. Nintendo is also set to release a remake of The Wind Waker, a Gamecube original, on the Wii  U later in the year.

NO sequel for ZombiU

Ouch.

The Wii U woes continues for Nintendo as Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that there will not be a sequel for the lukewarm-received game ZombiU, after stating that the Wii U exclusive game wasn’t even close to making a profit (ouch). This may come as heartbreak to many fans of the game which was launched along side the Wii U last year.

Looks like someone isn’t happy about this happening

Contrary to what the company stated in May, it was mentioned that a prototype was in the works at Ubisoft Montpelier. However, judging by how Ubisoft Montpelier just finished development of Rayman Legends, the prototype for the next ZombiU game would not have been given much thought, as Ubisoft is currently focusing on finishing Rayman Legends instead...

Envious over Eevee-themed 3DS XL

Japan just keeps getting the good stuff don’t they? The 3DS XL/LL launched initially with 5 colours for Japan, and 3 for Europe and America. Once that went underway, Japan released a slew of themed 3DS XL/LL that left the world astonished. From Zelda, Monster Hunter, to Fire Emblem Awakening-themed designs, over the past couple of weeks Nintendo  unveiled Pokemon-themed Xls. Joining the ranks of the Pikachu and Charizard (a personal favourite) themed XLs, a new one looms over the horizon. Be very envious over the recently announced Eevee-themed 3DS XL.
