Ubisoft unveiled the next title in its Assassin’s Creed franchise today. Titled Syndicate, the game takes place in Victoria London and follows the brother/sister duo of Jacob and Evie Frye. The pair run a criminal gang, and look to bring down rival gangs and the upper British class that seems to keep its poorest citizens down. Take a look at the announcement trailer below.
The game has a few changes up its sleeve to differentiate it from past titles. There is a played male and female protagonist, and there will be numerous female enemies as well. There will be no multiplayer, and the stealth system has been tweaked to aid you to get the drop on your foes or sneak past them. Carriages and trains will play a big part in the travel system, and their will be a recruitment system where you can gather a large amount of gang members to take participate in street brawls.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One on October 23, with a PC version to follow later.
