Assassin’s Creed Unity delayed, now releasing same day as Rogue
Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Unity will be delayed by two weeks, as well as have a Day One patch. Originally slated for October 28, Unity will now launch on November 11 in North America for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One and in Europe and Australasia on November 13. This means the game will release on the same day as Assassin’s Creed Rogue, coming for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The desire to further polish the game is the reason being given for the delay.
Senior producer at Ubisoft Vincent Pontbriand explained. “As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional. We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
