E3 2016- Ubisoft Conference Highlights

Ubisoft kicked things off right away with Ghost Recon Wildlands. In addition to upcoming games a behind the scenes video for the Assassin’s Creed movie was shown. On to the highlights.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Said to be the largest open world game ever done by Ubisoft, Ghost Recon Wildlands can be played solo or with 4 other players. Missions can be approached however you wish. The game is set for release on March 7, 2017.

South Park: Fractured But Whole

The sequel picks up following the end of The Stick of Truth, and moves from spoofing fantasy to spoofing superheroes. You can build your own superhero, with Cartman providing a backstory. Combat is again turn based, using both space and time in your strategy. Preorders get you The Stick of Truth for free. The game is set for release on December 6.

The Division

The Underground DLC pack comes out June 28 for the PC and Xbox One and August 2 for the PS4. Three new outifts were also shown off, as well as a trailer for the second expansion called Survival.

Eagle Flight

A VR game, coming in the Fall for all VR systems.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew

Another VR game, also coming in the Fall.

For Honor

We got a cinematic trailer and saw some gameplay for the single player campaign, which you can play as a knight, a samurai, or a viking. For Honor is set for release on February 14, 2017.

Grow Up

The sequel to Grow Home. Set for release in August on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Trials of the Blood Dragon

Available now for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Assassin’s Creed movie

We got a little look behind the scenes for the upcoming movie, hitting theaters on December 21.

Watch Dogs 2

Coming November 15 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. PS4 once again is getting the DLC early. Ubisoft is also teaming with Sony to produce a Watch Dogs movie.

Steep

An open world sports game featuring skiing, hang gliding, and more in the Swiss Alps. Coming in December.
