Independence Day: Resurgence invades cinemas across the Globe. Will this highly anticipated blockbuster live up to the heights of its predecessor?

Independence Day: Resurgence finally makes its highly anticipated release

Some varied gaming choices coming this week following E3. Mighty No. 9 finally hits store shelves after several delays. Zombie fans can try to survive in Deadlight: Director’ cut or join friends to shoot them in Umbrella Corps. The strategy RPG Grand Kingdom lands this week for the PS4 and Vita, and Mario and Sonic head to the Olympic games in Rio on the Wii U. Hitting hoe video this week is the romantic comedy sequel My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 along with the sci-fi thriller Midnight Special and the action comedy The Brothers Grimsby. Aliens try again to conquer Earth on the big screen in Independence Day: Resurgence and Matthew McConaughey leads a band of soldiers in the historical drama Free State of Jones. Now off to this week’s list and, as always, release dates are subject to change.
