Minecraft hits the million mark on the PS3

Minecraft, the best selling world building game from Mojang, hit a pretty significant milestone on Sony’s PlayStation 3. After being available for just over a month (the game released on the PSN December 17), the game has sold one million copies. The milestone was announced on Mojang’s official blog.

“It is crazy considering the game was released just before Christmas last year. We are super grateful for the support and we are very thankful for your dedication and I hope you will like the future updates we have planned for you.”

At last count, the game had sold 10 million copies on the Xbox 360 and 13 million copies on the PC.
