New releases for the week of Monday, May 12, 2014
Not the biggest week fo
r new releases, but there are some of note. The next episode of Telltale Games The Walking Dead hits all platforms this week, giving us the next thrilling adventure of Clementine and the others. the shooter/loot fest that is Borderlands 2 goes mobile on the PlayStation Vita, and those who wish to jump into the world building craze that is Minecraft can have their own disc version for the PS3. The horror/action flick I, Frankenstein comes to home video, as does the Oscar nominated Her. And stomping into theaters on Friday is Monsters director Gareth Edwards big budget take on the King of Monsters, Godzilla. With Bryan Cranston leading the cast and some impressive looking effects, this could be the Godzilla movie to erase the taste of the 1998 film from fans’ mouths. Also hitting theaters on Friday is the baseball flick from Disney, Million Dollar Arm. So, let’s get to the list, and remember, as always, release dates are subject to change.
