New releases for the week of Monday, May 18, 2015

Releases may be short in quantity this week, but there are some major goodies heading to your consoles and PCs. The much anticipated continued adventures of Geralt of Rivia hits the PC, PS4, and Xbox One in The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. Those still enjoying Bungie’s shooter MMO Destiny get a new expansion with the House of Wolves. Life is Strange drops its third episode, and you can try out your hand at farming n Farming Simulator 15 on Sony and Microsoft’s consoles. The 3DS gets a Puzzles & Dragons double pack, and the Vita gets a new outing from the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise. Home video gets the award winning American Sniper, the animated fantasy Strange Magic, written by George Lucas, another romp through time in Hot Tub Time Machine 2, and the second season of Orange is the New Black. On the big screen this week we get the Disney sci-fi movie Tomorrowland starring George Clooney, and the horror remake of the classic Spielberg/Tobe Hooper team up Poltergeist, this time directed by Gil Kenan (Monster House) and produced by Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead).
