New releases for the week of Monday, August 1, 2016

It’s a new month, and that means new gaming choices. The Dark Knight has a big week, first appearing in Batman: A Telltale Game Series- Episode 1 “Realm of Shadows”, hitting home video in Batman: The Killing Joke, and then having a small part in the theatrical release Suicide Squad, sharing screen time with some of his rogue’s gallery. Final Fantasy fans get a mobile game to help make the wait for Final Fantasy XV easier, and the creators of Journey bring us the beautiful looking underwater adventure Abzu. Elsewhere on the home video front we get the adorable kitten-centric action comedy Keanu and the comedy/drama Mother’s Day. And this week Microsoft unveils its new version of the Xbox One in the 2TB model of the Xbox One S, retailing at $399.99 USD (a cheaper 500GB model will follow in the coming months). Now off we go to this week’s list and, as always, release dates are subject to change.
