Warner Bros. has announced the official release date for LEGO: The Hobbit. Take a look at the trailer below (courtesy of GameNewsOfficial).
The game will cover the events in the first two Peter Jackson movies, and will launch on April 11 for the PS3, PS4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PC and Mac. A PS3 bundle with the game was recently announced. The bundle will retail for $270 (USD), putting together a 500GB PS3 with the LEGO: The Hobbit game, and will be available this spring.
Warner Bros. Games also announced the release date for the story driven DLC Cold, Cold Heart for Batman: Arkham Origins. The DLC, which will focus on Mr. Freeze, will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on April 22. As reported before, the DLC will not be available for the Wii U, and those who purchased the Season Pass on Nintendo’s console were offered a refund. Warner Bros. Games came under fire from some fans recently as they said Batman: Arkham Origins will be receiving no further support in the form of patches to address the bugs that have plagued the title since its release.
Sony launched the PS4 in Japan on February 22, and by all accounts it was quite successful. According to Famitsu, 322,083 units were sold in a two day period following the console’s release, joining the 5 million units that have sold in Western markets since November.
