Switch owners already got a dose of the Hero when he arrived in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate earlier this week, but soon, Dragon Quest enthusiasts (at least in Japan) will be able to play as him once again, in a demo based on his own upcoming outing, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition.
At the Dragon Quest Summer Festival 2019 in Tokyo, publisher Square Enix announced this demo for the Switch-bound RPG would be released at some point in the near future. Users who play this demo and record save data will receive a “Skill Seed” in the full game and be able to obtain a premium hero card “The One Descended from Erdrick [S]” in the Japan-exclusive Switch title, Dragon Quest Rivals.
Square Enix also mentioned how Dragon Quest X would appear in Dragon Quest XI S as a past world players could travel to and confirmed a “North Leather Style” outfit for Erik/Camus would be in the game.
Dragon Quest XI S arrives on the Switch this September. Will you be adding this one to your collection? Leave a comment below.
