Well, it’s that time of year again. 2013 is winding down over these next two months, and with the all important holidays approaching, the gaming industry is loading us up with plenty of choices to spend our hard earned dollars on. Hollywood is doing their part to grab some of that entertainment dollar as well, as big summer movies make their way to DVD/Bluray, such as Man of Steel (set for release on November 12), and big budget flicks like Thor: Dark World, Catching Fire, and The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug will be hitting theaters. And to top it off, Microsoft and Sony are releasing their next generation of consoles in the Xbox One and the PS4. With all these choices, what is one to do?
Over the next two months, the writers here at leetgamers.asia are going to try to help out. We have reviews in the works for some of the big holiday releases, like Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, and Call of Duty: Ghosts, plus we’ll let you know our thoughts on those films hitting your local cinema, such as Thor: Dark World.
We’ll also be presenting our lists suggesting what to get the gamer for the holidays, as well as gift ideas for those movie lovers on your shopping lists. After Christmas, look for our writers Best of 2013 lists, giving you our writers’ opinions on what were the best releases over the past year. It’s been a terrific year for gamers, and 2014 is looking to be excellent as well.
What are you looking forward to this holiday season? Are you sticking with the current generation of consoles, or are you leaping forward to the next gen in gaming? What movie releases are you looking forward to? What are your picks for the best of 2013? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned for our reviews and holiday suggestions.
